My stay at Hotel Le Labrador was largely enjoyable. The atmosphere felt cozy and inviting, and the staff truly went above and beyond to assist me. The only downside was that I dealt with some minor inconveniences, such as the room being smaller than expected and some wear and tear in areas needing attention.

Rooms

My Drus Room was lovely with a modern bathroom, though quite compact. It offered beautiful views, but some aspects felt a bit dated. Some needed maintenance like the shower not working properly.
Service

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. From the night porter showing me to my room to the manager arranging my last-minute airport transfer, their service made a big difference to my experience.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated just outside Chamonix, giving me easy access to skiing and stunning mountain views. Being a couple of minutes from the Flegere gondola was incredibly handy for my ski days.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast offerings, especially the surprise pancake machine, though it was priced at €14, which seemed a bit steep. Still, the continental selection was tasty with fresh breads and pastries.
Facilities

The wellness facilities, including the hot tub and sauna, were great for relaxing after a day on the slopes, though the availability of towels could be improved. The common areas were attractive and invited relaxation.

7.2/10

My stay at Hotel Le Labrador was nice due to its fantastic location near the cable car station and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, though the room was quite modest in size and not without its quirks. Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable base for exploring Chamonix, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like myself.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was clean and well-maintained, although modest in size. It had a modern bathroom and basic amenities, but I found the pillows a bit flat, which made sleeping less comfortable.

The staff were really good—always friendly and ready to assist with any request. Their helpfulness made my experience much more enjoyable.
Location

The hotel's location was superb for accessing ski lifts and local dining options. It was a short walk to the Flegere gondola and bus stop, making it easy to explore the valley.
Dining

Breakfast offered a decent selection, including a pancake machine, though I found the €14 fee a bit steep. Local dining nearby was good, particularly La Cabane des Praz next door.
Facilities

The wellness facilities, including a hot tub and sauna, provided a nice way to unwind after skiing. However, the hot tub was a bit cool for my taste, and the stairs to access the area were a bit steep.

7.2/10

During my stay at Hotel Le Labrador, I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, which made for a warm welcome. However, the size of the room was quite compact, and the kitchenette was disappointing with a non-functional dishwasher and a small mini-bar instead of a full refrigerator.

Rooms
5.0
While the room was clean and offered stunning views of the Alps, it was smaller than I had expected. The compact layout meant that it didn't have the space I had hoped for, making it a challenge when I tried to cook.
Service

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which truly enhanced my experience. They went out of their way to assist me with any queries I had, which I greatly appreciated during my stay.
Location

The hotel's location was excellent for accessing the ski lifts quickly. A short walk put me right at the base of the slopes, making my skiing experience much more enjoyable.
Dining
6.0
Although the breakfast offering was good with a good pancake machine, I wished for a bit more variety in the selection to make it feel more substantial and satisfying.
Facilities

The wellness facilities were a fantastic addition to my stay, providing a hot tub and sauna to relax after a day on the slopes. The ski and boot room was also convenient, although I noted it got crowded during peak times.

5.8/10

My stay at Le Labrador was nice due to its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, but the room's limited size and some maintenance issues left something to be desired. The location was fantastic for accessing ski lifts and outdoor fun, but I wished for more variety at breakfast. Overall, it was a great base for exploring Chamonix with some room for improvement.

Rooms

The twin "Drus" room was clean and had a modern bathroom, but it felt small with basic amenities. I appreciated the comfortable beds and the lovely views, but I noticed a few maintenance issues, like the light switch falling off. Overall, it offered a cozy retreat after skiing but could use some updates.
Service
10.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any requests. I especially appreciated the manager arranging a last-minute airport transfer when my original was a no-show. They made me feel at home and allowed me to use the spa facilities even after checkout, which was a nice touch.
Location

Le Labrador is perfectly situated just a short walk from the Flegere gondola, making it easy to get to the slopes. It’s also close to some lovely dining options like La Cabane des Praz. However, I found it a bit distant from the main town center, which could limit evening dining choices.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a continental spread for €14, with a surprise pancake machine, which was enjoyable. While I thought the price was a bit high, the food was decent. I did wish for a little more variety, especially in the cooked options, but it generally sufficed for fueling a day of skiing.
Facilities
8.0
The wellness area was a great spot to unwind with a hot tub and sauna, although I felt the size was a bit limited. The boot room also had a heated rack, although it got quite crowded during my stay. The general ambiance was cozy and inviting, ideal for relaxation after outdoor activities.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Le Labrador, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. The location was perfect for hitting the slopes, with easy access to the Flegere lift just a short walk away. The only downside was the slightly pricey continental breakfast and some tight parking spaces. Overall, it was a nice experience that I'll cherish for a long time.

Being just a couple of minutes from the Flegere lift was a game changer for my skiing adventures. Plus, the vibe in Les Praz was nice and relaxed, away from the busy center of Chamonix.
Dining

The breakfast spread was decent with a surprising pancake machine, but at €14 per person, it felt a bit overpriced. Still, I can’t complain too much since there were other dining options nearby.

The spa with the hot tub, steam room, and sauna was an absolute highlight! After a long day on the slopes, it was the perfect place to unwind and relax.
